Ronald McDonald House & McDonalds

McDonald’s is the charity’s first corporate partner and advocate, earning the designation: “founding and forever partner.” We opened our first House in 1974. Since then, McDonald’s employees, franchisees, suppliers, and customers worldwide have shared donations, talent, and time. Their generosity actively supports the Ronald McDonald House mission.
Ronald McDonald House Northeast Kansas is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. We rely on the support of numerous corporate partners, individuals, and foundations to help achieve our goals.

McDonald’s gifts of time, funds, and in-kind services have expanded our impact. Their community relations support also helps Ronald McDonald House Northeast Kansas thrive.
Kevin and Mary Kate Dobski, McDonald’s Owners, give their time serving on our board of directors.  They also participate and sponsor many of the Ronald McDonald house Northeast Kansas Events.

Celebrating Josephine & Jane’s Kitchen

In 2022, we proudly opened the newly remodeled Josephine & Jane’s Kitchen. The beautiful space is located at Ronald McDonald House Northeast Kansas in Topeka. Our House provides accommodation, meals, and everyday support. This removes barriers so families can remain actively involved in their child’s care. We hope this beautiful space provides them with a comforting sense of normalcy and warmth.
  • A Complete Transformation: The original kitchen was taken down to the studs and completely modernized to better serve our guest families.
  • Generous Community Support: This incredible update was made possible by a generous donation from Kansas McDonald’s Owner/Operators, Tom and Marilyn Dobski.
  • A Heartfelt Tribute: The space was lovingly named to honor both of their mothers, Josephine Natiello and Jane Dobski.
